Important-page scanning and more accurate AI fixes

Released

VisRank now evaluates a focused set of important public pages, applies checks where they are relevant, and produces more precise report and AI-fix guidance.

Scans now look beyond the entered URL and evaluate important public pages such as core product, service, pricing, company, contact, and recently relevant content when those pages are discoverable.

Checks are applied according to page purpose, so a contact page, pricing page, article, and product page are not expected to expose the same signals.

Repeated findings are organized by affected page, making reports clearer without hiding page-specific problems or counting one shared issue many times.

Improved answer-first, structured-content, schema, social metadata, local, security, and entity checks to reduce misleading findings and produce more useful evidence.

Fix with AI now uses the affected page context more carefully, keeps page-specific fixes separate, avoids unsupported claims and placeholders, and validates generated output before saving it to the report.

Monitoring automatically rechecks the same important-page view over time, so customers can see whether fixes worked and catch regressions that appear after content, template, or site updates.

Monitoring remains the best fit for websites that change regularly because one report is only a snapshot, while ongoing checks can surface fixed, new, still-open, and reappeared issues.

We continue improving the scanner, report evidence, and AI-fix safeguards so results become more accurate, practical, and consistent across different websites and platforms.

Fix My Issues, Claude-powered AI fixes, and new diagnose-only tools

Released

Paid reports now include saved Fix with AI outputs inside Fix My Issues, while new free tools show diagnosis only and keep AI generation behind paid access.

Renamed the guided repair flow to Fix My Issues so users have a clearer next step after reading a report.

Added Fix with AI for eligible schema, content, metadata, discovery, trust, and entity issues in paid reports. It uses a top Claude AI model to turn report evidence into ready-to-copy guidance, code, page copy, and validation steps.

AI fixes are saved back into the report after generation, so users do not lose the result after refreshing the page.

Full Report includes 3 saved AI fixes for that paid report; Monitoring includes 10 AI fixes per account per calendar month.

Added AI Search Readiness Checker to show public answer-readiness, entity, trust, and AI citation issues without revealing the fix steps in the free view.

Added Why AI Does Not Mention Me to diagnose public trust, entity, proof, and business-clarity gaps that can make a brand harder to understand.

Added Compare Your Site vs Competitor so users can enter two URLs and compare public scores plus issue names before deciding whether to unlock fixes or start Monitoring.

Free tools diagnose public signals only and do not claim that ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, or other AI systems mentioned or did not mention a brand.

Monitoring remains the verify-over-time tier: rescans remove fixed issues from Fix My Issues and surface regressions later.

Fix My Issues and Monitoring limits updated

Released

The dashboard now gives paid users a clearer step-by-step Fix My Issues flow, and Monitoring plan limits are easier to understand.

Added a guided Fix My Issues flow that starts with website platform selection so instructions can match WordPress, Shopify, Wix/Squarespace, Webflow, or custom sites more closely.

Fix instructions now explain where to find each setting, what to change, and when to save, publish, deploy, clear cache, or check the live page.

Monitoring users now see rescan as a final check step after completing fixes, instead of seeing it throughout every issue step.

One-time Full Report users still get the full issue list and fix guidance, while automatic re-checking remains a Monitoring feature.

Monitoring now includes 3 monitored Full Reports total. Additional sites can still be added by buying a one-time Full Report while keeping Monitoring benefits active.

Updated public plan wording and AI discovery files so the product limits are clearer and consistent.

Deep AI visibility checks now run in the background

Released

Paid reports and Monitoring now have a stronger AI visibility layer for rendered pages, sitewide gaps, competitor readiness, and more specific AI visibility alerts.

Added background deep AI visibility checks so heavier analysis does not slow down normal free scans.

Paid and Monitoring reports can now show a Deep AI Visibility status while rendered page checks are queued, running, completed, or need retry.

Added sitewide AI visibility evidence across key public pages, including average AI Citation, AEO, and Trust scores, weakest pages, and repeated gaps.

Monitoring competitor tracking now compares deeper readiness signals such as prompt coverage, schema readiness, proof signals, and llms.txt readiness instead of only the headline score.

Strengthened entity proof checks for paid and Monitoring scans by looking for consistency between on-site identity signals and linked public profiles.

Monitoring alerts now include more specific AI visibility regressions, including llms.txt quality, deep schema readiness, and prompt coverage changes.

Kept the experience resilient: if a deep background check cannot finish, the main report and fix guidance still remain available.

Monitoring reports now show what changed

Released

Monitoring reports now include change history, fix progress, smarter AI visibility alerts, and more useful weekly briefs.

Monitoring now tracks full scan snapshots so eligible reports can show what changed since the previous scan.

Reports can summarize fixed issues, new issues, reappeared issues, still-open issues, score movement, and AI Citation movement.

Monitoring alerts now cover important AI visibility regressions such as AI crawler blocking, missing llms.txt, schema changes, noindex changes, canonical changes, and AI Citation drops.

Weekly Monitoring briefs now include issue changes, AI Citation status, the next best action, and a link back to the updated report.

The dashboard stays simple with a compact Latest Changes, Next Best Action, and Open Alerts summary while deeper details remain in the report.

One-time paid reports remain stable historical reports; fresh homepage scans do not overwrite paid reports, while eligible Monitoring rescans continue to update monitored and separately purchased reports.

AI Citation Readiness is now in reports

Released

VisRank now checks whether a page is easier for AI search tools to extract, verify, and cite in generated answers.

Added a separate AI Citation Readiness Score for answer-first blocks, extractable formats, buyer-intent prompts, entity context, proof, discovery, and freshness.

Full reports now show AI Citation evidence and fix guidance without changing historical overall Visibility Score comparisons.

Monitoring rescans refresh AI Citation evidence, and weekly email briefs include the AI Citation score when available.

Created a public AI Citation Audit page so users can understand and run the new check from the Free Tools menu.

Kept the score honest: it measures citation readiness and does not promise guaranteed inclusion in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, or Perplexity.

Free llms.txt Generator & Validator added

Released

VisRank now includes a free account-based tool to check, generate, copy and download llms.txt files for AI search discovery.

Added a free account-based llms.txt Generator & Validator for AI search, AEO and GEO workflows.

The tool checks whether a website has llms.txt and flags common structure, page coverage and safety issues.

Registered users can generate a clean llms.txt file, copy it, download it and publish it at the site root.

The validator warns against including private customer data, admin URLs, API paths, dashboard pages or credentials.

The new page is available from the Free Tools menu on desktop and mobile.

Full VisRank scans continue to check llms.txt as one AEO signal alongside schema, crawler access, entity clarity and answer-ready content.

Trust & Entity Visibility Score is now available

Released

VisRank now checks whether a website is easy for search engines and AI answer engines to verify as a real, trustworthy entity.

Added a separate Trust & Entity Visibility Score for business identity, trust pages, public proof, social profiles, and entity schema signals.

Created a free Trust & Entity Audit entry point so anyone can quickly check whether their site has visible About, Contact, legal, proof, and identity signals.

Full reports and Monitoring now show deeper evidence for the Trust & Entity checks, including which signals were found and which need attention.

Monitoring rescans use the latest Trust & Entity checks, while historical overall score comparisons remain stable because the new score is reported separately.

Improved public navigation with a Free Tools menu so users can find SEO, AEO, local, AI search, and entity audit tools more easily.

Updated public search and AI discovery signals so the new audit page can be found through sitemap, llms.txt, and product navigation.

Released

We improved scan accuracy, made issue detection more reliable, and expanded fix guidance so reports are clearer for non-technical users.

Improved scan accuracy across SEO, AI readiness, security, and local presence checks.

Reduced false positives and false negatives in contact, structured data, heading, and security signal detection.

Expanded issue guidance with clearer step-by-step fixes written for business owners, marketers, and developers.

Update FAQ

What changed in the latest update

The latest update expanded scans across important public pages, improved page-specific issue detection, strengthened AI-fix validation, and made Monitoring more useful for verifying fixes and catching regressions over time.

Do old reports update automatically

Previously generated reports keep the results from the scan that created them. New scans and eligible Monitoring rescans use the latest scanner improvements, including Trust & Entity and AI Citation checks.

Why publish product updates

Public updates make it easier for customers and search engines to understand what changed, when it changed, and how the product is improving over time.
